The commonly used 4.33 or 4.35 weeks per month is an annual average, not the length of a named month. Using 52 weeks divided by 12 gives about 4.333, but 52 weeks covers only 364 days. Using 365.2425 days, the long-run Gregorian average year, gives about 4.348 weeks per month. Different shortcuts therefore produce slightly different figures.
